LMC STUDENT USE

  • Students must come to the LMC with the purpose of learning. No more than two students from any class may come at one time. Students must have a signed pass indicating the reason for their visit. The pass must also indicate the time that the student is to return back to class. Students will be sent back to class if they do not have a pass. Students are not permitted to bring backpacks, food, or drinks into the LMC.

  • Students and teachers are required to use shelf markers while looking for materials.  This will help keep the library organized. Students may only check out books from the fiction, nonfiction and biography sections of the LMC.  They may only have two books at a time.  They can keep their books for two weeks.  Students may renew their books once.  With special permission they may renew their books an additional time.

  • All rules in the LMS/LHS Handbook and School District Discipline policies will be adhered to.
